About Heron Handmade

Heron Handmade is run by brothers Reuben and Jacob Sotak. As avid anglers spending every free moment on the water fly fishing for trout, bass, pike, striped bass, steelhead (and anything else that would take a fly), they were sick of using — and breaking — poorly designed and cheaply made nets.

So they decided to build their own.

Each net design comes from a collaborative design effort that’s anchored in making a purpose-built, robust net that will stand up to daily fishing in an array of conditions.
